Introducing BearingPoint North America
BearingPoint Managing Partner Matthias Loebich and ABeam CEO Takahiro Yamada sat down to talk about the establishment of BearingPoint North America – a formal joint venture between the two companies. Yamada-san explained that the alliance reflects shifting market dynamics and the changing nature of enterprise transformation. He added:

In 2025 Cathie Hall was appointed to the supervisory board at Arcwide – BearingPoint’s joint venture with IFS. Cathie and Arcwide CEO Philippe Chaniot reflected on another year of success and significant expansion for the JV. Cathie said:

A key strategic development for BearingPoint in 2025 was the decision to unite all Microsoft-related services into one operational unit. Speaking with our Global Leader Enterprise Microsoft Transformation, Eric Conway, Microsoft VP Martin Cullen talked about the growing importance of these kinds of partnerships for clients, saying:

With the consolidation of SAP services under one roof, along with the establishment of BearingPoint North America in 2025, we are better positioned than ever to drive impactful SAP transformations for clients. SAP’s Eric van Rossum spoke with our global SAP leader Kay Manke, about this exciting evolution of the partnership. Eric said:

Laying foundations for the future
Strategy 2030 is how BearingPoint is evolving and building for the long-term success of our clients. We have four strategic focus areas:
Driving our clients’ transformation programs starts with transforming our own business. As part of Strategy 2030, we have invested in outcome-focused delivery, AI-enabled consulting, and targeted investments in technology partnerships.
Advancing AI
Making full use and generating full value from AI is vital – both for us and our clients. That’s why in 2025 we empowered our people with GenAI tools to improve service offerings and support new, outcome-based operational models. We also accelerated AI adoption across the full technology lifecycle for greater efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
Furthermore, as serial innovators, we industrialized proprietary AI platforms (such as GenAIQ or BeMind) into enterprise-ready engines that drive productivity.
Product development
Our Products business expanded across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and South America. A notable milestone was the go live of ETM.next in Argentina, earning SAP Spotlight recognition.
Other key highlights included adding RE3 and GenAIQ to the BearingPoint Product Store – bringing compliance and intelligent automation capabilities. There was a major win with Agree & Sign, our innovative solution for handling digital application and approval processes. An exciting new partnership with SAP eMobility yielded a new fleet-management use case. Meanwhile, our Assets & Funding Management solution became available on the SAP Store.
New units & ventures
To enhance the quality, consistency, and scalability of our delivery, BearingPoint is pushing back the boundaries of how and where we engage our clients.
We have established two new global Operating Units – Enterprise SAP Transformation (EST) and Enterprise Microsoft Transformation (EMT). These dedicated units are supercharging the support we provide clients in modernizing digital workplaces and core processes through SAP and Microsoft technologies.
Meanwhile, we have formed a US joint venture with our trusted partner ABeam Consulting. Operating under the BearingPoint brand, the new business delivers end-to-end SAP consulting, implementation and Business AI services across the Americas and beyond.
Finally, Arcwide’s acquisition of Cedar Bay Iberica has accelerated its growth trajectory, strengthening its presence in Southern Europe.
Augmented consulting
Our Augmented Consultant initiative is reshaping our consultancy model, with artificial intelligence amplifying human capabilities for thousands of our people. This, alongside the launch of our AI Academy, is already accelerating how BearingPoint delivers value at scale.
